Rasoda Dairies

Rasoda Dairies was founded in 2003 in Baddegama, a remote village in Kurunegala district, where dairy farming was the livelihood for a considerable segment of the traditional local farmers. During the inception of the company, Rasoda Dairies operated as a small scale domestic enterprise by utilizing approximately 100 liters of fresh milk per day with an employee count of 04, manufacturingyoghurt and ice lollies by resorting to traditional methods of milk processing.

Mr. Daminda Perera, the founder of the company, who was an officer of Sri Lanka Airforce back in 2003, left an illustrious career which was evident before him as a military soldier predominantly to stay true for his instinct and follow his passion for entrepreneurship. With the leadership qualities demonstrated by Mr. Perera, the company was quite successful in battling enormous challenges and obstacles during the primitive years which ultimately paved the way to lay the much required foundation to build an invincible company.

All Rasoda Dairy products are based on LOCAL NATURAL FRESH MILK. More freshness of the Rasoda product is preserved by minimizing the time consumed between milking and processing of fresh milk.
